About this file

This is a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and accompanying Statement of Work (SOW) for Serial Number Reporting Requirement (SNRR) Spares under contract SPE41-22-G-0005/SPRRA1-26-R-0031 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation for the U.S. Army (AMAM-OPL requiring office). The data item requires contractors to report and track serial numbers for aviation Critical Safety Items (CSI), Flight Safety Critical Aircraft Parts (FSCAP), Army Maintenance Management System-Aviation (TAMMS-A) reportable items, and other components requiring assignment and approval of serial numbers throughout the equipment lifecycle.

The contractor must submit SNRR data using the TAMMS-A/MCDS web portal at https://tamms-a.redstone.army.mil to either submit contractor-developed serial numbers or receive government-generated serial numbers. Serial numbers are limited to 18 alphanumeric characters and cannot begin with zero or contain letters O, I, Z, L, J, or special characters. Once assigned, serial numbers cannot be altered or reused without written approval from AMCOM G3. The contractor must provide a Government Quality Assurance Representative-signed Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) Receiving Report within two business days of each shipment listing all parent serial numbers shipped, with the TAMMS-A Customer Support Office identifying discrepancies within five working days and the contractor correcting errors within ten working days. Final contract closeout requires submission of a final receiving report through WAWF using DODAAC W81D17, with only SNRR representatives authorized to close the SNRR contract line item. The contractor is also responsible for attaching DD Form 1574 Serviceable Tags to each item and DD Form 1574-1 Serviceable Labels to shipping containers per Department of Army regulations.

The contractor shall use the SNRR module on the TAMMS-A Maintenance Consolidated

Database System (TAMMS-A/MCDS) web portal at https://tamms-a.redstone.army.mil to submit contractor developed SN’s, or to receive web generated SN’s when the contractor does not develop their own serial numbers. (DO# if available), and a brief description of assistance requested. All inquiries are typically answered within two business days.

SN’s may be up to a maximum of 18 alphanumeric characters: e.g., 35721B1RD4MD000222. A

SN shall not begin with a zero (0), or contain the letters O, I, Z, L or J (upper or lower case) or special characters (-, /).

Serial number requirements are separate from IUID requirements; however, the SNs may be a part of the Unique Item Identification (UII). Serial numbers shall be approved prior to the creation or registration of IUID.
