About this file

This is a Notice of Intended Decision from the Association of Water Commissioners (AWC) regarding a single-source procurement for Pulsar Reflect radar level sensors used for lift station level monitoring. The document indicates AWC's intention to award a contract to a single vendor without competitive bidding, based on the specialized nature of the equipment and its compatibility requirements with existing monitoring systems. The procurement involves the acquisition of Pulsar Reflect radar level sensors, which are specialized instruments designed specifically for monitoring water levels in lift stations. The notice establishes AWC's determination that this single-source procurement is justified and necessary for the agency's operational requirements.

The procurement is structured as a non-competitive single-source award to AWC Inc., indicating that the vendor was selected based on the unique specifications and technical capabilities required for the lift station level monitoring application. This procurement approach suggests that the Pulsar Reflect technology represents the most suitable solution available for AWC's specific operational needs, and that competitive bidding was deemed unnecessary or impractical for this specialized equipment requirement. Additional details regarding pricing, contract term, delivery schedules, and implementation timelines would be contained within the full procurement documentation and resulting purchase agreement.
