About this file
This document is a Notice of Intended Decision to Purchase Sole/Single Source Products and/or Services issued by Brevard County Board of County Commissioners in Florida. The document pertains to a sole source procurement for HVAC Building Automation and Optimization services from Automated Logic Central Florida (ALC), a wholly owned factory distribution and service division of Automated Logic Corporation. The solicitation will be posted on Vendor Link from 09/03/2025 at 12:00 pm until 09/08/2025 at 12:00 pm, during which time potential respondents can challenge the sole source designation by providing convincing technical data demonstrating they can meet or exceed the specified requirements.
The Public Works Department is seeking installation, programming, and software services for HVAC building automation across various county-owned buildings. The sole source justification is based on ALC's exclusive ability to provide these specialized services. The contact person for this procurement is Heather Riley from the county, located at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Building C, Room 303, in Viera, FL. The sole source identification number for this procurement is 4790902. If alternative vendors can demonstrate substantially similar capabilities, Brevard County may cancel this notice and instead pursue a formal competitive solicitation.
