About this file

This document is an Attachment F - Certified Disadvantaged Business Outreach Plan for a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the State of Oregon for Safety Training Services. The RFP is open to Marion County and the cities of Salem. The plan requires the proposer to describe the steps they will take to solicit certified minority-owned, women-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, and emerging small businesses for subcontracting opportunities if awarded the contract. The proposer must also list any certified and non-certified firms they have had a contractual relationship with in the last two years. The plan indicates that the proposer would be required to report the identity and value of each subcontract to the Oregon Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID) if awarded the contract.

The document outlines the requirements for the proposer to demonstrate their commitment to providing equal opportunity for certified disadvantaged businesses to participate in the performance of the contract. This is a requirement for contracts financed with state funds in Oregon. Pricing terms, funding sources, and other salient commercial details are not explicitly stated in this attachment.
