STATEMENT OF WORK
AE26 COLDFOOD, ALASKA SNOWMACHINES
1.0 Introduction and Background
This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for the lease of five (5) snowmachines and two (2) accompanying trailers. This equipment is essential for personnel to conduct operations in the vicinity of ColdFoot, Alaska, during the winter season. The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment and services to meet the requirements of this SOW.
2.0 Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide five (5) commercially manufactured snowmachines and two (2) trailers suitable for transporting the snowmachines. The equipment must be in excellent operating condition, fully serviced, and ready for immediate use upon delivery.
3.0 Period and Place of Performance
• Period of Performance: The lease period will be from February 15, 2026, to March 10, 2026.
• Place of Performance: The snowmachines and trailers will be used in and around ColdFoot, Alaska. The specific delivery location will be coordinated with Government POC prior to the period of performance.
4.0 Equipment Specifications
The contractor shall ensure that all provided equipment meets the following minimum specifications:
4.1 Snowmachines (5 units):
• Type: snowmachines suitable for groomed trails and off-trail use in deep snow conditions. Must be civilian equivalent of the Brutals/Shredder.
• Features: All snowmachines must be equipped with electric start, reverse, and heated handgrips.
• Passengers: Capable of carrying at least one driver and one passenger.
• Condition: All snowmachines must be fully operational, mechanically sound, and road-worthy upon delivery.
4.2 Trailers (2 units):
• Type: All trailers must be capable of transporting civilian equivalent of the Brutals /Shredder model snowmachines. Five (5) total snowmachines shall be delivered to Eielson AFB, Alaska on the 15th of February 2026.
• Condition: All trailers must be in good working order, with functional lights, and properly inflated tires.
• Licensing: Trailers must be properly licensed and registered for use on public highways.
5.0 Contractor-Furnished Items and Services
The contractor shall be responsible for the following:
• Maintenance: All routine and preventative maintenance of the snowmachines and trailers is the responsibility of the contractor.
• Fuel: All snowmobiles will be delivered with a full tank of gasoline.
• Insurance: The contractor shall maintain adequate insurance to cover all provided equipment.
6.0 Delivery and Return
• Delivery: The contractor shall deliver all snowmobiles and trailers to the specified Place of Performance on or before the start of the Period of Performance.
• Return: The government will return the equipment to a location mutually agreed upon by both parties at the end of the lease period.
