Encased prop - The intent is to have the lamp appear to be "held" in the body form's hand, while the lamp's weight is actually carried by a metal disk cut to the shape of the bottom of the lamp.

The disk should be stem mounted off the structrual leg of the body form, with the stem piercing thru the prop overalls as out of public view as possible to engage the leg's support.

See custheet for hatform to be wrapped fully in spandex black or sable (TBD) covering and tucked up out of sight within cap. Stem mount cap directly back into the signblank case back angled to minimize its presence. Cut the smallest possible vent hole in the prop cap itself (not the mortar board) to let the stem pass through out of view.
