The inspection report functions as a technical assessment tool to inform project specifications and contractor estimating. As a supporting exhibit to the solicitation, the report provides detailed findings that establish the baseline conditions for the roof replacement project, allowing bidders to develop accurate proposals and timelines. The document supports the competitive bidding process by ensuring all potential contractors have access to the same technical information regarding existing roof conditions, material types, and structural considerations that will influence project execution and cost estimation.
