Conflict of Interest Affidavit Summary
This is a Conflict of Interest Affidavit document prepared by the State of Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) for the plumbing maintenance and repair services contract opportunity D7PLUMB32SB. The affidavit serves as a required submission component of the invitation for bids process and establishes the framework for bidders to declare any potential conflicts of interest that could affect their ability to perform the contract impartially and in compliance with state regulations. Bidders responding to this solicitation must complete and submit this affidavit as part of their bid package to demonstrate compliance with Maryland's conflict of interest requirements and ethical business practices.
The affidavit document establishes the legal and ethical obligations that successful bidders must acknowledge regarding conflicts of interest, including disclosure requirements and certifications of impartiality. This submission requirement ensures that contractors selected for the plumbing maintenance and repair services contract meet state standards for ethical business conduct and have no undisclosed relationships or financial interests that could compromise contract performance or create conflicts with MDOT SHA's interests.
