About this file

This document is an attachment titled "Attachment_H_Target_Look-alike_Species.docx" that provides information on target species and their look-alike species for a federal contract opportunity.

The attachment outlines the requirements for re-surveying units if 3 or more occurrences of look-alike species are located within a unit, but were not identified by the contract surveyors. If this pattern is seen in 4 or more units, the contractors must re-survey all previously surveyed units, targeting the overlooked genera. This is to ensure the contract surveyors can properly identify the target species and distinguish them from similar look-alike species. The attachment lists the target species and their respective look-alike species that must be identified. The related federal contract opportunity is for a "Little White Salmon Botany Survey" requirement to be competitively awarded as a BPA Call Order.

Text version

Attachment I Target Look-alike Species, and Re-survey Triggers If 3 or more occurrences of look-alike species are located within a unit by the inspector, but look-alikes were not located within that same unit by the contract surveyors, the contractor must re-survey the unit. If this pattern is seen in 4 or more units, then contractors must re-survey all previously surveyed units, targeting the overlooked genera. This ensures that contract surveyors are able to identify genera of interest, and separate species within those genera.
