About this file

This document appears to be an Attachment D that provides an Invasive Botanical Species List for the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The list is based on the Washington State noxious weed list from 2020 and includes species of concern for the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The document categorizes the species by class, with those in blue text being common on the forest and not a priority for control. Species in bold are locally common but a priority for control, while those in yellow are Early-Detection Rapid Response (EDRR) species and the highest priority. The document references Attachment 12 for invasive species infestation documentation requirements.

The related federal contract opportunity appears to be for a Little White Salmon Botany Survey, which is a notification of intent to award a BPA Call order, not a solicitation. The government is gathering market information to assess potential capacity to provide services consistent with the scope and scale of the anticipated requirement, secure the necessary resources, implement a successful project management plan, and provide services under a performance-based service acquisition vehicle. The contract will be competitively awarded as a BPA Call Order against previously solicited multiple award schedule BPAs.

ATTACHMENT D

Invasive Botanical Species List Based on Washington State noxious weed list 2020, with Gifford Pinchot invasive plant species of concern.

Species in blue text are common on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest and are not a priority for control efforts. For this reason, contract surveyors ARE NOT required to survey for, or document, species listed in blue text.

Species in bold are locally common on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest but are a priority for control efforts.

All Class A species and additional species highlighted in yellow are Early-Detection Rapid Response (EDRR) species and are the highest priority for control. These species have unique and specific documentation requirements.

Refer to Guidelines for Documenting Invasive Plant Infestations 2021 (Attachment 12) for invasive species infestation documentation requirements.
