About this file
This document provides instructions for creating Google accounts to access collaborative data on the General Services Administration's (GSA's) Google Drive and Google Sites systems. The accounts, called GSA Affiliated Custom Accounts (GACA), allow GSA's customer agencies and partners that have not adopted Google Apps for Government or Google Apps Premier to access shared files. To create a GACA account, users must start the account name with "GSA." and enable two-factor authentication. Files that can be stored on Google Drive include documents up to 1.02 million characters, spreadsheets up to 2 million cells, and presentations up to 100MB. Common file types supported are documents, images, audio, video and Microsoft Office files. The National Science Foundation - Ice Core Facility (NSF-ICF) solicitation is for a design-bid-build contract to construct a new freezer facility at the Denver Federal Center to replace the aging existing ice core storage facility built in 1993. The 19,058 square foot facility will include refrigerated warehouse space, refrigeration equipment space, shop/storage space, office/support space and loading/shipping space. Construction will follow GSA's 2021 P-100 baseline standards.

GSA Affiliated Custom Accounts (GACA) Google Drive™ and Google Sites™ Step by step instructions on how our customer agencies and civilian partners that have NOT incorporated the use of Google Apps for Government or Google Apps Premier into their workplace presented by Adrienne Meech
U.S. General Services Administration
What is GACA?
Google Drive™ and Google Sites™ provide GSA employees a way to create, edit and share work from anywhere. Real-time collaboration can now be accomplished not only with other GSA employees, but also their customers and business partners.
The collaborative data stored on the Google Drive™ and Google Sites™ systems are compliant to the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2. This standard ensures that access to and transmission of the files on these systems is via a secure web page that requires the TLS 1.0 encryption standard at minimum.
The GSA has provided a mechanism to ensure that customers and partners of GSA can access this information via a Gmail account. Although anyone can create the Gmail account, the account must be created with the string beginning “GSA.” (the letters G S A and a period), and must have two factor authentication turned on.
