About this file
This is a proprietary/confidential information identification form (Attachment E) for RFP-199-DLC-2024-019 from the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) related to Visitor Center exhibits. The form outlines the process for offerors to protect trade secrets or proprietary information from public disclosure under the Virginia Freedom of Information Act by invoking § 2.2-4342F of the Code of Virginia. Offerors must identify proprietary information before or at the time of submission, with redacted versions clearly marking removed sections.
The document includes a table format where offerors can list specific sections/titles, page numbers, and reasons for withholding information from disclosure. It specifically mentions that personal identifying information (names, addresses, driver's licenses, email addresses), bank account information, and financial records should be considered for protection. DCR explicitly states it will not accept responsibility for public disclosure resulting from improper redaction by the offeror.
