About this file
This document is a proposal template for the DARPA Young Faculty Award (YFA) program, specifically Attachment D: Volume 2 Administrative and National Policy Requirements. The template provides a structured format for researchers to complete administrative details for their grant proposal, including team member identification, organizational conflict of interest disclosures, intellectual property assertions, and representations regarding tax liability and criminal history. Key requirements include using 8-1/2 by 11-inch paper with 1-inch margins, 11-point minimum font size, and submitting the document in PDF, ODX, DOC, or DOCX formats in English.
The template covers critical proposal submission elements such as identifying non-U.S. team members, declaring potential conflicts of interest, detailing intellectual property restrictions, and addressing human subjects research or animal use considerations. Proposers must provide comprehensive information about their team, potential organizational conflicts, technical data and computer software restrictions, patent usage, and institutional review board or animal care committee approvals. The document is part of the DARPA Young Faculty Award program, which aims to support early-career researchers in developing innovative research with potential national security applications, focusing on identifying and engaging rising academic researchers without prior DARPA funding.
