About this file
This quotation requirements document pertains to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) procurement for Spanish Translation and Interpretation services under contract number DQ KABA 2026000415. The agency seeks vendors to provide written translation services, virtual verbal interpretation services, and ad hoc project support in Spanish. The submission deadline for quotations is April 30, 2027, with response times characterized as firm and non-negotiable. The resulting purchase order is intended to be renewable on a multi-year basis, with CDLE open to negotiating Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA) based on state government indices. There are no plans to expand this project to additional languages.
Pricing shall be structured according to the service type, including per-word rates for written translation with standard 48-hour response times and expedited same-day rush options, hourly rates for virtual verbal interpretation with a one-hour minimum, and per-quarter-hour rates beyond the initial hour. All cancellation fees—both for cancellations with more than 24 hours notice and those with less than 24 hours notice—are to be determined at the time of the project. Quoted rates must be all-inclusive and encompass all associated costs including labor, mileage, lodging, supplies, mailing, parking, communications, and administrative expenses, with no additional charges permitted beyond the quoted rates. The position is classified under Standard Occupational Classification code 27-3091 for Interpreters and Translators.
