About this file

This is a Prequalification Submission (PQS) attachment for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services' request for Civil and Bridge Engineering Services continuing contracts. The document establishes qualification criteria and submission requirements for professional design and engineering firms seeking to provide statewide continuing contract services. Proposals are due September 14, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET, with proposal opening scheduled for September 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET. The continuing contracts will enable the state to access qualified engineering resources for civil and bridge engineering projects on an ongoing basis, with firms selected through this prequalification process.

The PQS attachment outlines the specific qualifications, experience requirements, and documentation that interested firms must submit to be considered for the continuing contract awards. Key evaluation criteria likely include relevant project experience, professional licensure, financial stability, organizational capacity, and technical expertise in civil and bridge engineering disciplines. The prequalification process allows the state to establish a roster of qualified vendors who can be called upon for project-specific work throughout the contract period, streamlining procurement for future engineering needs without requiring full competitive solicitations for each individual project.
