About this file
This is a Task List attachment for NFSR (National Forest System Road) 462 and 462A maintenance and improvement work. The project encompasses comprehensive road reconditioning and drainage infrastructure upgrades across two interconnected forest service roads in New Mexico, with work items referenced by milepost (MP) locations beginning at the NM-337/462 intersection for Road 462 and at the 462/462A intersection for Road 462A.
The scope of work includes multiple culvert replacements varying in size from 18" to 36" diameter pipes with lengths ranging from 24 to 48 feet, with several requiring size upgrades to accommodate improved drainage. Additional tasks include Class A subbase material placement (approximately 10 yards per culvert installation plus larger sections of 0.365 miles at 4" depth), ditch line maintenance and re-establishment throughout the project area, guardrail installation (90 linear feet on a curve), Class 1 rip rap armoring at culvert inlets, outlets, and ditch lines, installation of water bars and drainage dips, and outlet reshaping work. All culvert replacements require proper elevation adjustments, inlet/outlet reshaping for drainage optimization, and additional top cover for adequate depth. The work is restricted to current Region 3 Forest Engineering and Roads Maintenance (FERM) BPA Holders with the USDA Forest Service under solicitation number 127EAX26Q0079.
