About this file

This is an Iran Economic Sanctions Act Certification form for the Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District related to a bid for Erate CAT2 services. The certification requires the bidder or authorized representative to confirm personal knowledge of the Iran Economic Sanctions Act (MCL 129.311, et seq.) and to attest that the bidding entity is not an Iran-linked business as defined under the Act. The bidder must sign and date the certification, acknowledging that the school district will rely on these representations during the bid evaluation process.

Submission of a false certification carries significant penalties, including potential contract termination, ineligibility to bid for three years, and a civil penalty of $250,000 or twice the bid amount, whichever is greater, plus investigation and legal costs. This certification form serves as a compliance requirement to ensure bidders meet Michigan's Iran Economic Sanctions Act requirements before award consideration.
