About this file
This is a Conflict of Interest and Ethics Certification form required by the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA) in Texas for the Request for Quotes (RFQ) for Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services. The RFQ seeks qualified bidders to provide solid waste collection and disposal services at two CCRTA locations: Staples Street Center and Operations Facility. The contract is structured as a two-year, fixed-unit-price service agreement. Bidders must submit this completed certification form along with their quote response.
The certification requires bidders to attest that no actual or potential conflicts of interest exist that would improperly influence the award or performance of the contract, and to promptly disclose any conflicts that become known during procurement or contract performance. Bidders must certify they have not offered or accepted any gifts, gratuities, or favors intended to improperly influence CCRTA officers, board members, employees, or representatives. Additionally, bidders must confirm their quotes were prepared independently without collusion or agreement with other bidders to restrict competition or fix prices. Bidders acknowledge responsibility for complying with all applicable conflict-of-interest disclosure requirements under Texas law, including Chapter 176 of the Texas Local Government Code, and for timely filing a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire if required by law. The certification imposes a continuing obligation to disclose any changes in circumstances or new information that would render prior statements inaccurate or incomplete.
