About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the supply, factory testing, delivery, and documentation of two high-voltage power transformers for installation at USAGM Kuwait Transmitting Station.
The supplier must design and manufacture two step-down power transformers with the following specifications: (1) NWL38892 model rated at 330 KVA with primary voltage of 4160V extended Delta and secondary voltage of 300V (L to N) with 24 windings; and (2) NWL38752 model rated at 550 KVA with primary voltage of 11,000V extended Delta and secondary voltage of 300V (L to N) with 24 windings. Both transformers must operate at 50 Hz, use air cooling, maintain a vector group of +/- 15° phase shift, and have a temperature rise of 80°C. Each transformer shall be supplied complete with thermal sensors featuring NC/NO contacts and mounted on wheels. Factory testing must include ratio test, winding resistance test, insulation resistance test, applied voltage test, induced voltage test, no-load loss and current test, load loss and impedance test, and functional checks of accessories. The supplier shall provide general arrangement drawings, nameplate details, transformer data sheets, wiring diagrams, test certificates, quality assurance documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, and packing and shipping documentation. Delivery is required within nine months from contract award to JCM Logistics, C/O Alltranspack, 45110 Ocean Court, Suite 110, Sterling, VA 20166. The supplier must maintain ISO 9001 certified quality management system, provide lifting and handling instructions, and comply with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and transportation regulations. Warranty coverage is 12 months from commercial operation start or 18 months from delivery, whichever occurs first, with supplier responsibility for repair or replacement of defective components at no cost.
