About this file
This document is a Response Worksheet from the State of California's Procurement Division, specifically under Governor Gavin Newsom's administration, related to a Commercial Car Rental contract opportunity. The worksheet is designed to gather comprehensive information from potential car rental suppliers about their capabilities for state agency vehicle rentals, with detailed sections covering domestic and international rental locations, direct billing processes, and vehicle fleet compositions.
The worksheet specifically seeks vendor details on zero emission vehicles (ZEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), including fleet sizes, geographic availability, and charging/billing policies. Key areas of inquiry include the vendor's ability to provide direct billing for state agencies and employees, support for centralized travel accounts, off-road insurance coverage, toll charge billing, and specific policies around electric vehicle charging and associated fees. The document appears to be part of a competitive procurement process aimed at establishing a statewide car rental contract with robust requirements for electric and hybrid vehicle options and flexible billing mechanisms.
