About this file
This is a Colocation Specifications attachment for a state and local contract opportunity involving the Department of Information Technology (DoIT). The document outlines the technical requirements for colocation services to be provided at Netrality Datacenters in the St. Louis area, specifically at two locations: 210 North Tucker Boulevard and 900 Walnut Street. The provider must supply full racks or individual cabinets based on equipment needs, with 24/7 access for DoIT engineers to the facility and equipment. The colocation services must include multiple power delivery options (48V, 120V, 208V, and A+B feeds) supported by UPS and backup generators, with a guaranteed Service Level Agreement of 99.99% uptime. Additional requirements encompass 24/7 Network Operations Center support, on-site technical support services (Smart Hands), Letters of Authorization for cross-connects and fiber installations, and comprehensive environmental controls including ASHRAE-compliant temperature and humidity regulation, fire suppression, and smoke control systems.
The specifications require the provider to adhere to national and international standards including IEEE, ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, TIA, ANSI, and ISO for environmental controls and infrastructure management. The provider must support Uptime Institute Tier III and Tier IV practices for dual power path systems and provide details on any Switch/Connectivity Fabric Access and related connectivity offerings. If the provider is a third party, clear delineation must be made regarding which services the provider delivers directly versus those provided by the datacenter owner. No pricing information, set-asides, contract terms, award dates, or renewal options are specified in this attachment.
