About this file
This is an Attestation of Compliance with Background Screening Requirements document issued by the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners for a Lawn Maintenance for Parks & Recreation contract in Florida. The attestation applies to concessionaires and their employees, agents, representatives, and volunteers providing lawn maintenance services across multiple areas of Brevard County, including the North, Central Mainland, Merritt Island/Beaches, and South regions. The concessionaire must certify compliance with high-level background screening requirements as defined in Florida Statutes Chapter 435.04, which includes fingerprinting and submission to a Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Criminal History Records Check. All covered individuals must have no arrest history for offenses that would result in failure of the FDLE Criminal History Records Check and must not have been found guilty of or entered a plea to any disqualifying offense, regardless of adjudication.
The attestation requires that the concessionaire assume full responsibility for submitting information and paying all fees associated with background screening for every employee, agent, representative, and volunteer. The concessionaire must notify the Parks and Recreation Director in writing within 24 hours of any arrest or change in criminal status affecting covered personnel. The authorized concessionaire representative must sign and date the attestation under penalty of perjury, confirming full compliance with all background screening requirements and the Services and Lease Contract. No pricing terms, renewal options, or contract duration information are specified in this compliance document.
