1. GENERAL: This is a non-personnel services contract to provide Periodic Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Emergency Services for film processors utilized by the Government to process radiography film. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government.
1.1 Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide all qualified personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to successfully perform major PM and emergency services as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract and shall be authorized by General Electric (GE) Inspection Technologies to perform major maintenance on the GE Structurix M ECO film processors.
1.2 Background: Puget Sound Naval Shipyard utilizes three newly installed GE Structurix M ECO film processors. This contracting effort provides a means to perform major PM and emergency services on the film processors to ensure non-stop work execution of radiography inspections to support the mission of the shipyard. Per revision 2.08 of the Operating Manual for the Structurix M ECO (Type 5203/300), pages 20 and 31, GE recommends using only an authorized GE service technician to perform major maintenance every 2 to 6 months.
1.3 Objectives: The objective of this service contract is to obtain periodic major preventative maintenance and emergency services as needed for existing Government owned film processors to maintain a high quality of film product and to ensure the film processors are working as designed to prevent any work stoppages.
1.4 Scope: The contractor shall provide major PM and emergency services on GE Structurix M Eco film processors and shall ensure that the film processors are operating within the parameters prescribed by the manufacturer. The contractor shall perform whatever steps are necessary to correct any discrepancies found during PM visits or Emergency Visits to ensure the film processors are operating as designed. The contractor shall also perform an emergency service visit(s) to troubleshoot and repair the film processors if they fail to perform as designed. The emergency visits will be included as separate optional CLINS in the contract. The contractor shall submit field evaluation reports for each preventative maintenance and emergency visit performed. In addition, the contractor shall perform a PM and an emergency visit on the film processor located at Coronado Island, San Diego as needed by C/135.

Service calls shall not exceed the total quantity obligated on any specific task order, or executed outside of a funded task order with prior KO approval.
