About this file
This is a Notice of Intent to Award a BPA Call Order issued by the USDA Forest Service Procurement & Property Services for soil productivity enhancement and tree management services on the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District, Deschutes National Forest in Oregon. The solicitation seeks services for 18 acres of mandatory tree thinning and bucking with hand piling across three units, plus 54 acres of optional work, as part of a whitebark pine restoration and fuels reduction program. The procurement is restricted to the 169 approved contractor companies already registered under the Land Management Integrated Resources BPA (LMIR), a national multiple-award blanket purchase agreement available to all federal agencies and usable across all Forest Service properties. The Call Order will be issued via email to eligible LMIR contractors, with any modifications also communicated electronically to those listed companies.
This is a competitive BPA Call Order award under the LMIR contract vehicle, not a new solicitation, and does not require unsolicited submissions from companies outside the BPA. The government will not provide feedback or evaluations on submissions received. The Point of Contact for inquiries is sm.fs.lmirbpa@usda.gov. This requirement is continuously solicited through the Government Point of Entry at SAM.gov, allowing the LMIR BPA to remain an open, ongoing vehicle for federal land management work.
