About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the Space Systems and Hardware Integration for Novel Experiments (SSHINE) Task Order 0004 under the broader SSPIDR contract. The SOW outlines the requirements for the Rapid Architecture Prototyping and Integration Development (RVEX) effort, which will provide the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Space Vehicles Directorate (RV) with research, development, systems engineering, mission development, modeling and simulation, and flight operations support for space technology experiments.
Key requirements include systems engineering and analytical support for mission and space system designs, model-based systems engineering, hardware/software-in-the-loop and cloud computing architecture development, space experiment prototyping and integration, and testing and assessment of space technologies, spacecraft, and high-altitude balloon systems. The SOW also covers contract management, security requirements, deliverables, and government-provided property and support. This SOW is related to the upcoming SSHINE acquisition, which will be a Small Business Set-Aside solicitation with an Industry Day event on July 26, 2024 at Kirtland AFB.
