About this file
This document is a standard federal contract clause (52.216-18 Ordering) that details the procedures for issuing delivery and task orders under a contract. The clause specifies that orders can be issued from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2030, and can be transmitted via mail, fax, or electronic methods including government document access systems or email. The clause emphasizes that all delivery and task orders are subject to the contract's terms, with the contract taking precedence in case of any conflicts. The document provides specific guidelines for what constitutes an "issued" order across different transmission methods and notes that alternative ordering methods are only permitted if explicitly authorized in the contract.
