About this file
This document is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division for Delaware Counties of Kent (Wage Determination No. 2015-4217, Revision 33, effective 5/13/2026).
The wage determination establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for service contract employees across numerous occupational classifications in Delaware. Wage rates range from $13.53 per hour for Dishwashers to $58.44 per hour for Nuclear Medicine Technologists, with specific rates assigned to over 150 job classifications spanning administrative, food service, automotive, furniture maintenance, health, information technology, technical, protective services, recreation, and skilled trades occupations. All occupations listed receive health and welfare benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, $222.00 per week, or $962.08 per month), with an alternative rate of $5.09 per hour under Executive Order 13786. Additional fringe benefits include two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, four weeks after ten years, and five weeks after twenty years. The determination applies to all contracts subject to the Service Contract Act awarded on or after January 1, 2017. Special provisions address computer professionals, air traffic controllers and weather observers with night/Sunday pay differentials, hazardous duty pay differentials (8% and 4%), and uniform allowance requirements ($1.35 per week or $67 cents per day for cleaning). Footnotes reference the Service Contract Act Directory of Occupations for job duty definitions and procedures for requesting authorization of additional classifications not listed.
