Solicita on: 140L6424Q0040 – La Posa and Oxbow Trash Removal Service

1. Q. Who currently holds the contract for this work?

A. Allied Waste Systems

2. Q. Is the Scope of work for this solicita on the same as the previous or are there addi ons/dele ons/changes?

A. The scope of work was changed to address over u liza on of the drop off sites that resulted in excess waste being dropped on the ground between pickup mes. On this SOW addi onal dumpsters and pickups have been added.

3. Q. What was the amount of the previous contract awarded for?

A. $123,679.00 base year plus 4 option years.

4. Q. Please confirm there are 9‐40 yard containers between the 5 locations to remain on site, with various pickup schedules as listed.

A. Please see the matrix provided in the previous SOW compared to the newly submitted matrix 1.3 SOW.

5. Q. The SOW lists the debris the contractor will be removing as trash, then states contractor must par cipate in the single stream recycle process. Can you please explain what is being recycled?

A. Single Stream Recycling is the act of reclaiming any item that has recycling value. i.e. paper, plas c, glass, metal etc.

6. Q. How o en and how much trash has been stacked alongside trash bins when the bins are full, that the contractor will have to clean up?

A. Trash has been placed on the ground at various me intervals and in varying quan es but was directly ed to mes of higher visita on.

7. Q. Please provide a tonnage report or an average tonnage for the open top containers.

A. Those numbers may be available on past billing receipts submi ed to contrac ng from the current contract holder. They are not available at YFO.

8. Q. Can you please provide the service addresses for the loca ons?

A. There is no "Service Address" at this BLM campground loca on. Here are the loca ons:
