About this file
This document is an Attachment to a federal solicitation that provides a Fact Sheet and templates related to vehicle and equipment procurement restrictions under the Foreign Assistance Act. It outlines the requirements for reporting the country of origin and percentage of U.S. content for proposed vehicles and equipment. Offerors must complete a template providing details on the chassis, frame, axles, engine, and other components, as well as the overall percentage of U.S. origin content. If the U.S. content is less than 80%, the proposed equipment does not meet the standard. Offerors seeking a waiver must report on alternatives that do comply and explain how they do not meet the solicitation's requirements. The templates also require information on vendor location, whether the equipment is 636(i) compliant, whether it meets the Statement of Work specifications, and any explanations for deviations or waivers related to specification problems, timeline issues, or cost variance.
