About this file

This document announces a solicitation for two arrangements under the Directed Energy Technology Experimentation Research (DETER) Advanced Research Announcement (ARA) FA9451-21-S-0001. The Air Force Research Laboratory seeks white papers that could potentially result in awards to fulfill needs of the Satellite Assessment Center.

One arrangement is for the Satellite Threat Assessment and Research Studies (STARS) program, valued at $14.5 million. STARS will address data and information collection and production of analysis, assessments, models, and simulations to support experimentation in space control, space domain awareness, and defensive counter space. The second arrangement is for the Satellite Assessment Tools for Unique Research Needs (SATURN) program, valued at $21.5 million. SATURN will modernize tools and infrastructure for effects modeling, simulation, analysis and assessment. Total estimated value of the RaDSAt program is $36 million. White papers and proposals are due within specified periods under this closed two-step call. The primary point of contact is the program manager listed, and questions may be directed to the specified contracting staff.
