Summary: Wage Determination Under Service Contract Act
This is a Register of Wage Determinations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division (Wage Determination No. 2015-5005, Revision 27, effective December 3, 2025). The determination applies to federal service contracts performed in Iowa counties (Harrison, Mills, Pottawattamie) and Nebraska counties (Cass, Douglas, Sarpy, Saunders, Washington).
The wage determination establishes mandatory prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for approximately 200 occupational classifications spanning administrative, automotive, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health, information technology, instructional, laundry, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical, and transportation occupations. Wage rates range from $12.74 per hour for lifeguards to $53.85 per hour for cable splicers. All occupations receive health and welfare benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly) or $222.00 weekly, plus vacation accrual (2-5 weeks depending on tenure), eleven paid holidays annually, and applicable hazard pay differentials (4-8 percent) for designated positions. Computer professionals, air traffic controllers, and weather observers have special footnoted provisions. The determination includes special requirements for uniform allowances, paid sick leave under Executive Order 13706, and minimum wage adjustments under Executive Order 13658 ($13.30 per hour effective 2025). Contractors must follow conformance procedures via Standard Form 1444 for occupations not listed in the wage determination.
