About this file
This document contains a compilation of federal contract clauses, provisions, and representations primarily focused on telecommunications equipment and services restrictions. The file includes multiple Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) clauses addressing prohibitions on contracting for certain telecommunications and video surveillance equipment, particularly from specific foreign entities. Key provisions require offerors to represent whether they provide, use, or intend to use covered telecommunications equipment or services, with detailed disclosure requirements about the origin, brand, model, and intended use of such equipment or services.
The document also contains a REAL ID Act information sheet extending the enforcement deadline to October 1, 2021, and listing states/territories compliant with or under review for the REAL ID Act. Additional sections provide guidance on acceptable forms of identification for access to Scott Air Force Base, including various government-issued IDs such as passports, driver's licenses, military IDs, and other recognized identification documents. The clauses emphasize compliance with federal regulations regarding telecommunications equipment, particularly those related to national security concerns and restrictions on equipment from specific manufacturers.
