About this file
This is a Labor Code Certifications attachment document related to IFB 26-0052 for the Winterhaven BPS Generator Replacement project in Lassen County, California, administered by the Department of General Services (DGS). The document establishes labor compliance requirements that contractors must satisfy when bidding on or executing this generator replacement project. The scope of work involves demolition of the existing generator and replacement with a new unit installed in the same location, along with demolition and replacement of the connecting integrated panelboard and existing conductors. All project components have been developed by DGS and must be adhered to by the selected contractor.
The Labor Code Certifications outline mandatory prevailing wage requirements, worker classification standards, and other California labor law compliance obligations that bidders must acknowledge and certify. These certifications ensure that all work performed on the project meets state labor standards and regulatory requirements. Contractors must demonstrate their understanding of and commitment to these labor provisions as a condition of bid eligibility and contract award. The certifications serve as a binding commitment that the contractor will comply with all applicable California Labor Code requirements throughout the project execution and completion.
