Statement of Work Summary
This Statement of Work from the US Department of Agriculture outlines a parking lot repair and resurfacing project for the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grassland. The project encompasses three parking lots located at the Boulder Ranger District Office in Boulder, Colorado; the Clear Creek Ranger District Office in Idaho Springs, Colorado; and the Fort Collins Administrative Site in Fort Collins, Colorado. The parking lots require comprehensive repair and resurfacing due to several years of deferred maintenance, including alligator cracking and horizontal cracking.
The contractor is responsible for cleaning all parking lot surfaces, filling cracks, removing and replacing damaged areas, seal coating all surfaces, and restriping the lots after seal coating completion. All work must comply with Forest Service Supplementary Specifications and Federal Highways Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects FP-24. Work at each site must be completed within one week and may be scheduled outside normal business hours with Forest Service approval. The contractor must account for site occupancy by Forest Service employees and public access through strategic closures. Deliverables include weekly written progress reports documenting completed work, upcoming tasks, and any identified problems and resolutions, as well as submittals for all asphalt products per specification requirements. No government-furnished items are provided for this project.
