About this file

This document is an attachment to a state and local contract opportunity. It details a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the City of Anytown for maintenance services for city parks and facilities.

The RFP seeks proposals from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive maintenance services for 50 city parks and 20 civic facilities. Services requested include landscaping, custodial work, minor repairs, and snow removal. The RFP specifies a 3-year initial term with two 1-year renewal options. Proposals are due by March 31, 2023 and the contract is anticipated to be awarded by May 1, 2023. A mandatory pre-proposal conference is scheduled for February 15, 2023.

The RFP requires unit pricing for the various service categories. A 10% local business preference is provided. The current incumbent is ABC Maintenance Corp, whose 5-year contract expires on June 30, 2023. The project is funded through the City's Parks and Facilities budgets, with an estimated annual value of $2.5 million.
