About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division. The document applies to service contracts in Idaho Counties of Jerome and Twin Falls, with Wage Determination No. 2015-5859, Revision 19, effective as of March 30, 2026.

The wage determination establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for approximately 200 occupational classifications across multiple service categories, including administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance and repair, general services and support, health occupations, information and arts, information technology, instructional occupations, laundry and dry-cleaning, machine tool operation and repair, materials handling and packing, mechanics and maintenance and repair, personal needs, plant and system operations, protective service, recreation, stevedoring, and technical occupations. Hourly wage rates range from $11.87 to $56.59, with most occupations in the $15-$30 range. All occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week) for standard contracts, or $5.09 per hour for contracts covered by Executive Order 13706 regarding paid sick leave. Employees receive two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after 15 years of service. A minimum of eleven paid holidays per year is mandated. The determination includes special provisions for computer professionals (footnote 1), air traffic controllers and weather observers with night and Sunday pay differentials (footnote 2), hazardous pay differentials ranging from 4 to 8 percent, and uniform allowance requirements. Contractors must furnish uniforms at no cost to employees or reimburse uniform maintenance at $3.35 per week unless uniforms are "wash and wear" materials requiring minimal special care.
