About this file
Summary: Attachment 3 - Statement of Objectives
This is a Statement of Objectives document for a playground repair and enhancement project at Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base. The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command (AETC) requires comprehensive corrections to deficiencies identified at five child care and youth program facilities: Maxwell Child Development Center (CDC), Gunter CDC, Maxwell School Age Care/Youth Program (SAC/YP), Gunter SAC, and Gunter YP. While the existing playgrounds are in acceptable condition and most equipment meets applicable criteria and is age- and skill-appropriate for intended users, the primary objective is to enhance the overall outdoor play environment through strategic equipment and surface upgrades, repairs, and restoration of existing playground discrepancies.
The contractor shall be responsible for supplying all materials, equipment, machines, tools, appliances, services, supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the playground improvements. The scope encompasses both corrective maintenance and enhancement activities designed to optimize the functionality and safety of the outdoor play facilities across all five locations. The work focuses on comprehensive site improvements rather than replacement, with attention to maintaining age-appropriate facilities while addressing previously documented deficiencies.
