The Offeror shall have a lathe capable of supporting minimum of 3000 lbs, machining/turning a 27" Outer Diameter (OD) diameter stainless steel flange, turning 24" OD over a length of approximately 22 feet. If the Offeror does not currently have this lathe, the Offeror shall detail its approach to meeting this requirement.
2. The Offeror shall describe its handling of drawing specified tolerances and provide Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) to demonstrate capability to meet drawing tolerances Key tolerances include ability to hold runout / straightness tolerances of the capsule tube, and the true positional tolerances/clocking of internal capsule features.
3. The Offeror shall describe its approach in performing Non-Destructive testing methods (Visual Inspection (VT) / Liquid Penetrant Inspection (PT), and Radiographic Inspection (RT) in accordance with NAVSEA Technical Publication T9074-AS-GIB-010/271.
