About this file
This document is an ICT Accessibility Requirements Statement for Software Maintenance Services, detailing technical and functional accessibility criteria under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. The document outlines comprehensive requirements for information and communication technology (ICT) support services to ensure accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
Key technical and functional performance criteria include provisions for users with various limitations, such as those without vision, with limited vision, without color perception, without or with limited hearing, without speech, with limited manipulation, reach, strength, and cognitive abilities. The requirements mandate that ICT support services provide alternative modes of operation, accommodate communication needs, and include information on accessibility and compatibility features. The document instructs that these accessibility requirements should be incorporated into solicitation requirements documents like SOO, SOW, or PWS, with further guidance available through the Revised 508 Standards Toolkit.
