WORK DATA SHEET
2024 DRY FORK ROAD CULVERT REPLACEMENT
EXISTING CORRUGATED STEEL PIPE (CSP) CULVERTS TO BE REMOVED:
Section 02223 – Site Demolition
- Existing Culverts - 160 lineal feet: 2 CSP culverts x 80 feet long each with 48” diameters, and with flared end sections. To be demolished and removed.
EXCAVATION AND FILL:
Section 02315 – Excavation and Fill
- Common Excavation. Estimated quantity: 1350 Cubic Yards (CY)*
- Compacted Embankment. Estimated quantity: 1450 CY*
POLYMER COATED CSP CULVERT:
Section 02640 – Culverts; Section 02370 - Geosynthetics
- New Culvert - 90 linear feet: 96-inch diameter minimum 14 ga. helical polymer coated 5”x1” galvanized CSP culvert. Step beveled end sections with 2:1 slope, as specified. Supply in 30-foot sections. Connect sections with 24-inch-wide 14 ga. 2-piece standard annular corrugated polymer coated connecting bands with 5-bolt connections.
- Compacted crushed gravel bedding: 12-inch thickness below culvert invert plus 25-inch thickness above culvert invert at haunches, as specified. Estimated quantity: 130 Loose Cubic Yards (LCY)*
- Geotextile fabric bedding liner: as specified. Estimated area: 225 Square Yards (SY)* (does not include required overlapping)
CONCRETE CUTOFF WALLS:
Section 03300 – Cast-In-Place Concrete; Section 02640 - Culverts
- Cast-in-place concrete cutoff wall at each end of culvert, as specified. Estimated concrete quantity:
4 CY*
- Anchor Bolts: As specified. Estimated quantity: 14 bolts*
RIPRAP:
Section 02275 – Riprap; Section 02370 – Geosynthetics
- Riprap at embankment headwalls: Class I gradation, as specified. Estimated quantity: 42 CY*
- Riprap at splash pads: Class II gradation, as specified. Estimated quantity: 40 CY*

- Geotextile fabric riprap liner: as specified. Estimated area: 230 SY* (does not include required overlapping)
ROAD SURFACE LAYER:
Section 02640 – Culverts
- 6-inch layer of ¾” minus crushed gravel, gradation as specified. Estimated quantity: 160 LCY*
