About this file

This work requirements document details specifications for pre-assembled household welcome kits to be delivered to the U.S. Embassy in Rome. Each kit must be packed in three labeled transparent plastic boxes (79x57x43 cm/130 Lt) containing household items for either 4 or 6-person families.

The requirements specify delivery to Via Boncompagni 2, Rome by April 15, 2025, with vendor capability for smaller replenishment orders throughout the year (15-20 day delivery window). The vendor's warehouse must be within 2 hours of the Embassy. The document lists detailed specifications for mandatory items including bedding (sheets, pillows, comforters), bathroom items (towels, bathmats), and kitchen equipment (pots, pans, utensils, dishware, glasses). Product samples must be submitted for quality evaluation, with specific material requirements listed for each item (e.g., 100% cotton sheets, stainless steel cookware). The related opportunity indicates a maximum quantity of 90 welcome kits will be required under a firm-fixed-price purchase order from the Department of State.
