About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division. The determination (WD 2015-5005, Revision 27, effective 12/03/2025) establishes prevailing wage rates for service contracts performed in Iowa Counties (Harrison, Mills, Pottawattamie) and Nebraska Counties (Cass, Douglas, Sarpy, Saunders, Washington).

The wage determination lists over 200 occupation classifications across multiple job categories including administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information technology, instructional occupations, laundry and dry cleaning, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical occupations, transportation, and miscellaneous occupations. Hourly rates range from $12.74 (Lifeguard) to $53.85 (Cable Splicer), with fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour or $222.00 per week ($962.00 per month). Computer-related positions are subject to exemption requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Air traffic controllers and weather observers receive night pay and Sunday pay differentials. Hazardous pay differentials of 8 percent and 4 percent apply to specified ordnance and explosives work. All occupations receive paid vacation (2-5 weeks based on tenure), eleven paid holidays annually, and uniform allowances where required. Conformance requests for unlisted occupations must be submitted on Standard Form 1444 within established procedures requiring contracting officer review and Department of Labor approval.
