About this file
This document is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division, effective August 27, 2026. It establishes prevailing wage rates for service employees in Iowa counties (Harrison, Mills, and Pottawattamie) and Nebraska counties (Cass, Douglas, Sarpy, Saunders, and Washington).
The wage determination lists over 200 occupation classifications with corresponding hourly rates ranging from $15.03 to $50.77 per hour. Major occupation categories include administrative and clerical positions (rates from $15.58–$37.45), automotive service roles ($18.19–$27.07), food preparation and service ($15.08–$20.05), health occupations ($13.97–$50.77), information technology and technical positions ($16.95–$47.00), maintenance and repair occupations ($20.46–$42.49), protective services ($15.09–$41.07), and transportation/equipment operation ($16.28–$36.14). All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.92 per hour up to 40 hours weekly ($236.80 per week or $1,026.13 per month), with additional benefits of $5.42 per hour under Executive Order 13786. The determination requires contractors to provide a minimum of 11 paid holidays annually, vacation accrual beginning at two weeks after one year of service, and uniform allowances where applicable. Computer professionals and air traffic controllers have specific exemptions and special pay provisions. Footnotes reference the Service Contract Act Directory of Occupations and conformance procedures for unlisted classifications requiring Department of Labor approval.
