2.1. 42 (EA) M4 MOBILE WEAPONS RACK
2.1.1. Overall dimensions: Approximately 74 1/2” H x 42” W x 30 3/8” D
2.1.2. Storage Capacity: 24 M4s per side, total of 48 weapons per mobile weapons rack
2.1.3. Each weapons rack will contain a 7” flex grip barrel saddle for every M4 (24 per rack)
2.1.4. Each weapons rack will contain a stock saddle for every M4 (24 per rack)
2.1.5. Heavy-duty caster base on 21 of the weapon racks to allow stacking
2.1.6. Stock shelf with 14-gauge stiffener to support the weight of 12 M-4s
2.1.7. Welded full-length piano hinge (no rivets)
2.1.8. Lockers must have 4 ratchet adjustable feet.
The 37 TRSS provides firearm training, to include classroom and live fire, to all Air Force and Space Force Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard student population assigned to JBSA- Lackland AFB. The current armory situation presents several challenges regarding space management, weapon storage, outdated/defective weapons racks. 37 TRSS needs to improve the armory's operational efficiency, safety standards, and overall functionality. The proposed modifications will not only resolve current storage issues but also enhance the armory's capability to support daily operations.

Armory Rack Upgrade
2.1.9. Full height modular back panel with punch outs for adjustable components spaced 3.187” apart in the horizontal direction and 1” in the vertical direction.
2.1.10. Must have built in carry handles, not external handles bolted or welded to the locker.
2.1.11. Removable stock base plate and angled to prevent weapons from falling forward.
2.1.12. Bi-folding locker doors must remain within a door track to prevent from swinging open.
2.1.13. All weapon Storage Components must be made of 14-gauge steel.
2.1.14. Perforated gates for visual inventory.
2.1.15. Heavy duty padlock hasp with rotating arm and thumb locks to engage two concealed lock rods that cannot be seen through door perforations.
2.1.16. Welded internal eyelets
2.1.17. Each rack will contain a lock and two keys
2.2. (4 EA) HANDGUN MOBILE WEAPONS RACK
2.2.1. Overall dimensions: Approximately 74 1/2” H x 42” W x 30 3/8” D.
2.2.2. Storage Capacity for two racks will be: 160 Handguns per side, total 320 handguns per mobile weapons rack. Storage capacity for the other two racks will be: 30 handguns with magazine bins on one side and 56 handguns on the other side, total 86 handguns per mobile weapons rack.
2.2.3. Racks one and two will contain 20 – 8 capacity pistol pegs each
2.2.4. Third rack will contain 30 – 1 capacity pistol pegs
2.2.5. Fourth rack will contain 7 – 8 capacity pistol pegs
2.2.6. Racks one, two, and three will contain 7 – 3” magazine storage boxes
2.2.7. Rack four will contain 9 – 3” magazine storage boxes
2.2.8. Heavy-duty caster base on 2 of the weapon racks to allow stacking
2.2.9. Each rack will contain a lock and two keys
