About this file

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details catering services for the 489th Bomb Group at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The contract requires a caterer to provide three daily meals on 03-04 May 2025 and 04-05 June 2025, with specific requirements including food preparation, serving, and sanitation. Key performance standards mandate that the contractor prepare meals according to commercial standards, ensure food safety, maintain proper temperatures, wear appropriate protective gear, and provide all necessary single-use serving items.

The solicitation is a small business set-aside for a Firm-Fixed Price contract, with the caterer responsible for obtaining required permits, preparing meals without repeating menu items within 5-7 day periods, and complying with Texas health and safety regulations. Caterers must possess current Food Managers Certificates, maintain a clean service area, and provide sufficient food portions for all personnel. The contractor will operate between 0600-2000 hours, with performance strictly monitored by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) using a detailed Performance Requirements Summary that sets 95-100% compliance standards for most service aspects.
