In accordance with DFARS 252.237-7023(a)(1), services are essential if the effectiveness of defense systems or operations has the potential to be seriously impaired by the interruption of these services, as determined by the appropriate functional commander or civilian equivalent.
a. The Service Calls and Repairs, as defined in the Performance Work Statement of the Access Control System Contract, are to be considered mission essential services.
