SECTION M - EVALUATION FACTORS FOR AWARD
Justification for LPTA:
1. Clearly Defined Technical Requirements – The flooring specifications, including Karndean
LVP and Dal-Tile Absolute Slate, must meet industry standards such as ANSI/NFCA, slip resistance, and VOC emissions compliance.
2. Comparable Vendor Capabilities – All vendors must be able to access the required materials, ensuring price is the key differentiator.
3. Using LPTA ensures that only technically acceptable proposals will be considered, with the lowest-cost compliant vendor selected. This approach aligns with our budget, procurement regulations, and mission requirements.
