About this file
This document is an Administrative Requirements attachment for a state contract opportunity involving the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), specifically for procuring a 24 ft Aluminum Boat & Trailer under Invitation for Bid (IFB) number 0000036127. The contract requires the contractor to deliver a fully equipped boat and trailer to the Law Enforcement Division in West Sacramento, with delivery and final acceptance to be completed within 365 calendar days from the purchase order date. Key requirements include submitting descriptive literature, design drawings, sea trials, and conducting a mandatory pre-construction conference within 30 days of the purchase order award to review specifications, expectations, and project details.
The state has reserved a 10 percent contingency of the bid amount to allow for potential options, upgrades, unanticipated tasks, and unforeseen components or labor. Warranty provisions mandate a minimum one-year manufacturer's warranty on the hull, deck, and console, with full manufacturer's warranty on the engine and standard warranties for equipment and electronics. The contractor must respond to warranty requests within one business day and bear all material, labor, and transportation costs for repairs during the warranty period. Acceptance is contingent on meeting all technical specifications, with a detailed failed acceptance process outlined that could result in contract termination if the delivered boat and trailer do not meet the state's minimum conditions and requirements.
