About this file
This document contains a draft Data Requirements Description (DRD) and related draft federal contract opportunity notice. The DRD outlines requirements for a Safety and Occupational Health and Environmental Plan (SHEMP) to be submitted under a potential NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center Facilities Operations and Maintenance Services contract. Key details include that the SHEMP must ensure safety and occupational health for all parties involved in contract performance and address applicable federal, state, and local requirements. It must cover organizational structure, safety policies and procedures, training, accident prevention, and monthly reporting. Comments on the draft 80AFRC22R0003 contract opportunity were due by April 26, 2022 to provide feedback on the draft requirements. The potential follow-on contract would encompass facility operations, maintenance, repair, janitorial services, grounds-keeping, and related services for NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center infrastructure and assets.
