About this file
This document is a detailed specification sheet for an Augmented Reality M4A1/M18 Weapons Training System solicitation. The procurement is for a training system by InVeris Training Solutions that supports up to four trainees simultaneously in an augmented reality environment, with specific capabilities including large room scanning (up to 10,000 square feet), realistic weapon tracking, and comprehensive training features. The system includes two tracker kits (for M4A1 Remo 5 Scope and M17/18), with equipment such as USB dongles, weapon trackers, scope risers, and a holster, along with a three-day onsite training and system delivery.
The solicitation (W50S8425Q0003) is an unfunded disclosure for pricing purposes, with quotes valid through September 30, 2025. It is a small business set-aside under NAICS code 333310 with a size standard of 1,000 employees, issued by the Department of the Army National Guard. The training system offers high-fidelity features like weapon recoil simulation, magazine changes, stoppage drills, and real-time/after-action review capabilities, with a strict requirement that no duty-issued weapons can be retrofitted for use in the system.
